You don’t have to be a fan of Transformers to find the humour in the word play in this post.

‘Be An Optimist Prime, Not A Negatron’. It’s such a simple concept. You can either choose to be like the archetypal hero and all round good guy Optimus Prime or the antagonistic and forever grumpy Megatron.

Which ever character you choose to be today both in attitude and action, is sure to have a real effect on your life.

If you choose to be an optimist, you are not going to have an easy time. Keeping yourself motivated all the time during tough challenges can be difficult. But, good guy heroes never have it easy. They always fight an uphill battle. They endure however, until they are victorious. As long as you stay in the fight, you will always have a chance of winning.

Negative folks on the other hand don’t even jump into the fray. They do not believe they can win, so they do not bother to try. Negativity is a vicious circle filled with defeat, stagnation and regret.

Luckily for the Negatrons out there, the good guy Optimist Prime is always willing to lend a hand to someone in need. ‘There is more to them than meets the eye’. (I had to throw that in there!). If people can let go of their pride and accept help, they too can jump high in the sunshine and not feel cold and alone in the dark.

Be the hero of your own story today by choosing to be optimistic about everything in your life. Or, be a hero to someone else who may need your positivity to turn their life around.
